About Us
Some call it a soup kitchen.
Michelle calls it a table where grace is served freely.
Born and raised in Owensville, Michelle Kohrmann returned to her hometown after ten years of being away and God began stirring something unexpected. A simple idea: What if we just made soup? What if we fed people who were hurting? What if we created a place where anyone could walk in and feel seen?
Michelle tried to set the idea aside for three years, but in early 2025, God kept bringing it back. On December 1, 2025, the vision finally came to life.
Since that day, The Table of Grace Soup Kitchen has served over 2,000 meals, thanks to the generosity of their local church partners, Cash Saver, the Food Pantry, and the people of Owensville who show up with open hands and open hearts.
Every Monday from 5–7 PM, volunteers gather at the Heartland Community Center to prepare hot meals for anyone who needs one, no questions asked, no judgment given. Whether you dine in, pick up, or request delivery, you are welcomed as family.
Michelle’s heartbeat is simple:
Everyone matters. Everyone deserves dignity.
Everyone walks through hard seasons.
If a warm meal can lighten that load, even for one night, The Table of Grace is here.
The ministry continues to grow, and your prayers mean more than you know. Pray for provision, for volunteers, and for the grace to keep serving Owensville one meal at a time.
